Try an sv650 if you don't like the v-strom. Both of those are still pretty speedy though; 0-60 in 3.6 seconds.

What about a nighthawk 750?

Say, what html are you guys using to embed a link in text, or make a hyperlink active on this bulletin board? (As above)

This one seems to defy me for some reason, I must be doing something wrong here.

Thanks!

But the interstate system is a massive subsidy to the trucking industry. Rail is cheaper by far.

Perhaps you'd like to pay my Rail Bill sometime, see just *HOW* far it is cheaper, eh?

When you ship by Rail, there are OTHER costs besides the direct price to transport your heavy-goods in bulk. One of the Big, *BIG* downsides is - You are utterly at the mercy of the Railroad's Whim - you anger your freightmaster, for whatever petty reason, you don't get your grain on time.

You then idle your Mills, cooling your heels (and your employees as well) while you wait 3 days for the local freight to set a line of cars that's been "in town" for 4 days, - the whole time you're paying demurrage charges of $100/day per car...........

Yeah, it's cheaper. /sarcasm

I don't think the "don't need that much power" thing would come up if it weren't for the idiot squid's who go out and buy the biggest cc bike they can finance before ever stepping foot in a MSF class.

People freak out when i say this but, i still think a stepped license system like in some areas in Australia could save some lives and give motorcyclists in the USA a better image.

Not as responsible as you with your biodiesel car, right?
