If only he had checked out a Harley about thirty years ago, during one of his booze or coke binges, we may not have been in the mess we are now.

This thread is bound to be absolutely fascinating, with reasoned, thought-provoking analysis leavened by clever japery. I picture a combination of Harvard reading room and the Algonquin Round Table.

I'm going to put on my smoking jacket, pour a glass of cognac, and revel in the elegant rhetorical flourishes and sophisticated geopolitical insights that are sure to flow from the keyboards of Messrs kpaul, Burns, dingling, and their compatriots. Ah, bliss. And I see from the preceding post that my lofty expectations shall not be dashed!

On second thought - pdad, seruzawa, wanna skip this and grab a beer?

And if Bush sr. had pulled out when he should have we wouldn't have any of this. That should have been a Clinton stain not a president.

Before we all talk trash about Bush let us remember that the Dems in power closed million of acres of public land to riding and are the majority of the safety nazis. When GW was voted in he opened back up alot of land Clinton had closed.

I think you, me, and mcsuddy are the only dirt riders on this board, hence the only ones who care.

Gee, I wonder why the prez didn't do a photo op at a GM, Ford, or Chrysler plant?

They would have been SO much more reflective of the way the American economy is going.

But of course! He's playing to his RUB constituency.
