![]() Why not offer that photo on ebay? There ought to be some interest in a freshly plucked bare hare.

![]() A corollary to that is that Mountain Lions tend to regard people on bycycles as Meals on Wheels....

![]() Common English mistake. You go to the Sierra, not the Sierra's. If you use the plural of Sierra, then you are going to the Sierra-Nevada, Sierra-Madre etc.

![]() What kind of a bear gets "spun around" 180 by a motorcycle doing 30mph? And what was his he doing down by your crank case and foot? I always though that bears go for the head. Dogs go for feet or at least foot level.

![]() I remember coming around a corner traveling about 60 mph around 10 PM on a hot sultry summer night on my way into Kings Canyon NP and finding a bear in the road. He saw me and ran down the hill crashing through the sage brush. I could hear him through my helmet at speed tearing down the hill! Wouldn't want to hit one!

![]() Despite some of the posts here, I believe that there are no Grizzly bears in CA., you either need to go to Yellowstone or very Northern WA., ID. or MT; or go up to Canada or AK to see them. Tons of Black Bears though.
Have been behind a car that hit a Grizzly head on in Revelstoke Park in BC. The bear rolled a few times and got up and walked into the woods (hump on shoulders identified as likely Grizzly). The car's front end looked like it had hit a truck.
