100+ is easy on today's bikes... even smaller cc ones like my v-strom 650. Bikes are so damned stable these days, that so long as you're far away from traffic, and have plenty of forward/rear visibility, it's enjoyable occasionally to stay in triple digits for a spell. Mind you, track days are far more fun and a HELL of a lot safer, but it's the riders' skill, not the bikes that may have trouble with triple-digit riding. That, and the long arm of the law.

yep, i got roadblocked at 164 in my car.. found out after the "stop" that a trooper hit me with a laser and radiod ahead, didn't even pull out till after they had me.

David Letterman got nailed a few years ago in Montana, in a Viper. I think he was doing like 160. But you'll never hear them say cars have too much power or go to fast. I wish people wopuld start to realize that a motorcycle is merely a different form of transportation. And is a lot more fun. And that they would start to teach that in drivers education programs.
