"find a bike you like to ride, and then figure out how to carry stuff on it"

Exactly.

I thought you flew from fleecing to fleecing in a Gulf Stream II.

I sure wish I could afford that Concours too.

Bing would approve!

You just made my morning. I'm rereading some of Stanley Bings books, and I had never thought to apply his approach to my daily commute. Instead of my SOLAS tape covered VFR with Givi's, I need to go LARGE! It isn't that big a step from GM to CEO anyway.

Visiblity

Fog lights aimed high and SOLAS tape on the other 3 sides. Now they see me. Wish I'd done it before getting knocked down on the way to work 2 years ago.

I'm in Seattle too.

I dropped my Metzlers and got Pilot Powers. They're awesome in the rain. I commute on it every day, rain or shine and never once have had a problem with traction now that I've got 'em.

Woot! Exactly my "B" setup. Although the rack is off right now for track day season. On cold early february mornings at the track the hand warmers are a nice touch.
