There IS money in that age group. For instance; the 16-30 age group that throw 20 grand into hopping up their $5000 Civic. After-market for the little cars with big mufflers is huge. And if they do it right, they can target that mentality. I'm not a fan of it, but it will be successful if done right.

Tommy: You should go over to MotoGP.com and sign up for their package that gives you the races live and interrupted. (Also has an onboard channel) I take the feed from MotoGP.com and run it onto my 55" big screen. Gotta Love it.

Oh, and I set up another laptop and put up the live timing screen.

Yeah the quality isn't Hi Def, but I love it. So I get up at 5am, I DON'T CARE, I'M A FAN!

There are so many positive things about motorcycling and real people who ride that for SPEED to give us Squids is a huge disappointment, but not unexpected from the "NASCAR Channel"

I TIVO the AMA and WSBK races so they don't get any sponsor time from me either.

By the way where the H was Isle of Man??

True. I have to say as much crap as she's sometimes given for being a bit long in the tooth, she's holding up very well.

Okay, the show has one redeeming quality. Actually, two.

"Sport bike lifestyle", eh? Sounds familiar doesn't it? Another group of people dressing the same, acting the same and crashing the same. Each fully believing he is an entirely unique individual.

At least they can ride free and not be hassled by the man.

I just can't imagine their target audience sitting in front of the boob tube (no reference to Michelle) at 7 o'clock Central.

Besides, the only advertisers they get for TWT are Yamaha and Honda, and a couple of insurance companies.

And get wasted!

I have way more respect for a guy riding an old UJM with a milk crate on the luggage rack than I do for the HD/Village People crowd or the X-treme No-Fear Oakley Brigade.

(Er, did I date myself with that last one? Are No Fear and Oakley still "cool" with the "hep-cats"?)
