Not sure why you think rudeness is a problem to me Â… I most certainly did not indicate as much in my post.

I was somewhat taken aback at somebody being under the opinion that I need to follow his "rules". Especially since said rules had not been communicated to me, nor had I in anyway agreed to that.

Of course, rather than requesting in a civil manner, the imbecile thinks I will yield to abuse. A mistake on his part I think.

Since the spoiler info does not bug you, I will not refrain from doing so in the future. Little HarryPotter has made me decide to continue to post as I wish Â…

Regards

He doesn't think there should be mandatory helmet laws. I assumed that was your point of view. No, I don't have to practice, but I do. I learned to read long ago, and continue doing so on a regular basis.

Haha. Fine by me. And my rudeness comment was in no way directed at you. It's just that there were other comments on here complaining that this board is uncivil, MO should do something about it, what would your mother think, etc.

Taken to extremes, yes. There will always be a dividing line and there will always be debate around that line. The real freedom freaks will tolerate no line at all, the real control zealots will want everything under the government thumb. It is up to us as a whole to decide what is reasonable (to enforce, to inflict, on a cost level, etc.).

The dividing line on what one is allowed to do with one's own person should never be controled by any government, or "majority" of the populace. Respect the rights of others, and demand that they do the same for you!
