Yes, going along with the pro-helmet opinion of 97% of the total population voters is really brave.

Had a 72 750K. Nice bike, but a ***** to change the stretched primary drive chain, splitting the cases and all. Saw a really well done version of a cafe racer in one of the recent Moto Mags. Wouldn't mind having one myself.

Another perspective: why would anyone pay to get insulted when they can get the information from somewhere else for free? No other site I visit tolerates personal insults like this one.

On topic: as long as personal behaviours have repercussions that enter into the public sphere, i.e. costs to the public, then a sizeable portion of the population are going to call for taxes, bans, etc. on unhealthy pursuits. If you want true freedom, then ensure your actions don't affect or can't affect anyone else. Problem solved.

"I'll give you a hint - riding with a helmet reduces the chance of injury or death. Not riding at all ELIMINATES it - and motorcycle riding is something like 30 times more dangerous on a per-mile basis than cars."

Then give up riding. Take a shower the next morning, slip on the soap, hit your head and die. Or lay in bed, quaking with fear, until you starve to death.

Or, eat right, get plenty of exercise, become an Adonis, and die anyway.

Life Kills. You'll never survive it.

I drank a soda pop today. There is a potential cost to society when I drink soda pop, ranging from Type II diabetes that will be a public cost through government-funded care and treatment, right through to lost economic productivity by the lethargy from the blood-sugar crash about 20 minutes after the pop consumption has stopped. If I never drink pop, then I will have achieved true freedom.

Is that a fair summation of your argument?

Right. Besides the haughty manners lecture, is there anything else you'd care to comment on? No?

Hate to say it, but it's kind of a matter of etiquette. He's not telling you that you Can't post what you want, but if you post a spoiler without a warning first, he's telling you that you are a prick. Just warn next time. Please. That's a request, not an order. Thanks.

It's called common courtesy, you ignorant, stupid jacka$$. Would it f***ing kill you to hold off talking about a race result? Really?

You really are a big d***.
