Schizuki, I am amazed. What you just described, "before they bust in on a no knock and cap another innocent", sounds just like a police state. You really don't think before you put your mouth or keyboard in gear. But maybe you're learning. And you actually accused the police of incompetence. Keep this up and they'll take away your Fascist Youth membership card.

Most cop bikes are used for escorts or heavy trafficked parts of town.I have yet to see a cop on a motorcycle catch and arrest any of the bad guy's.In most high speed chases they end up crashing out or getting knocked off by the person who's trying to escape. If not, then by some member of the public who didn't see them coming.I know because I used to take care of a fleet of cop bikes.Save the tax dollars and give them all 250's.

Now, that's the most realistic suggestion I've heard yet.

Cool concept, but where are they getting their riders? Are the hiring ex-street racers? As we all know, owning a fast bike doesn't mean you know how to ride. How hard is it to bait a novice rider on a fast bike into following you into a corner way to hot? (I'd love to take one of these cops/bikes on at a track day!)

My opinion, they need to stick with old slow HD's. Or just stay in their cages. Going 150+ to write a ticket is both dangerous and foolish.

I always chuckle at lefties who accuse others of being haters. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Default I'll say it; BS

It all looks a bit suspect to me. The "Police Interceptor" badging on the lower cowl comes directly off a Ford Crowne Vic. I work in public safety and drive one every day. No radio? No lights & siren? If anything- it's a demo-rig from a vendor. We get them all the time. Also- the moto-cops I know, even though they would think it very cool, would never want to sit on the thing for a 10 hour shift.

My $.02's

I've got one word for you - Thorazine.

But I'm touched that you care. Sniff.
