What ever happen to your Brutale? I've had mine for three weeks and I love it.

Feel free to mail me your receipts on how much biodiesel you have purchased and I'll be happy to reimburse you.

I had three bikes in the garage and didn't have time to ride them all. Plus, the Brutale made me ride like a total fool and I was afraid I would hurt myself sooner or later.

Wonderful motorcycle though. I miss it.

Aprilia SLR1000 "Falco" deristricted: 40-48 mpg. If you tune the efi mapping for "max power" it goes down to 36-42, but it doesn't run as well that way and I don't notice any real world riding loss in power set to the leaner map.

my '04 speed triple gets around 45 average, 50 for a straight highway drone and 40 flat when I'm driving like a jackass. the increase in tire use, maintenance cost and premium gas really trims the advantage between the bike and the honda civic (35 mph) but compared to the little pickup @ 25 or any of the current crop of suvs the winner is cear cut.

If you are looking for the "I use less gas" moral high ground with out buying a hybrid, straight economics be damned the bike does really well, not to mention it is much more fun to comute on!
