BMW R 1150R gets 51mpg doing the solo highway thing, 45mpg with "spirited" riding, and 42mpg with the wife and the cases on the highway.

'93 cb750 nighthawk. I was getting 40mpg without even trying before I did a pipe drill mod and shimmed the needles in the carbs. yeah, it woke up, but now I only get 32 while trying.

still, better than my car.

As a former Brutale owner, I always found it to be an engineering acheivment how they could make such a small bike guzzle so much fuel.

You're too rich. It should get 45 unless you're pushing 300 lbs.

If you would have clicked that government site you would have found only one station in San Diego .. While in highly educated, beautiful Seattle we have 14 stations. 2 are Chevron Station... Biodiesel cars are cleaner that petro diesel cars.. Even Dallas has more than San Diego thanks to Willie Nelson..

Hate to break this to ya California is losing its best and brightest...The Seattle real estate market proves it....
