I think it's quite possible that "hordes of bikers" is not a real thrill for a lot of the locals - economy bolstering or not.

Maybe Neil Young can write a song about it:

"Gotta get down to it, old ladies are mowing us down..."

Wow, motorcyclists joking about the violent deaths of other motorcyclists. How funny is it when one of your buddies buys it on a crotch rocket or a goldwing or any other non-Harley? Do you suppose it served-him-right too?

We all know we could be next. There is nervous laughter mixed with the same old reports everytime a "run/rally" is put together. The jokes only come in the form what you see hear because it is always the same reporting. ie. no helmet, drugs, drinking, lack of skill, harleys, beanies etc.....

There is no disrespect for the fellow motorcyclist or the families and friends they have left behind.

law of averages.

I don't have the numbers, but if you cram a few thousand bikes in a small town the statistics go up for crashes.

ask an actuary.

maybe someone can get some details on the crashes, this way we know more on the fault/reasons for them

I gotta get back to work!!

I'll check back later....

Yeah, we just did not expect fellow bikers to take such enjoyment from the news ...

Hahahaha, three riders are dead but you are making fun of that ... maybe my Ram will make a turn the "wrong way" next time I see a ricer.

Real funny no? What will your mentality be when I run your sorry ass off the road?
