My understanding is that you can raise the bars a bit more than 3/4ths of an inch. To the same height they are on sport classic.

I'm lucky enough to be a bit younger so the long-low reach isn't so bad. But it's definately a sport riding position vs. any semblance of touring comfort.

It is a riding position more suited to one's first day in prison.

This is probably not the way you want to go, but I have successfully mounted MX-style bars on a few sportbikes. Bars and mounts are available quite inexpensively at a variety of places, then all you have to do is drill a couple of mounting holes in the top triple clamp. Cables and hoses can be sourced from other Ducati bikes, or self-fashioned. Works great!

eh, i dunno. check out the pictures in mo's review. the top triple features a goofy thingamajigger that holds the mirrors/fairing/flux capacitor.

probably need to track down some clip-on's with more rise. off to cyclecats.

Hmmm. Yeah. I just looked at the pictures. Not enough room for that type of setup with the fairing and all.

Maybe Heli-Bars will fit: www.helibars.com

It was my understanding that Ducati was going to offer riser kits for these bikes but they'll probably be available the same time tomk2 gets his bags for his Multistrada!

The MC ads in the sports section of today's Washington Post had one listed. There you go.
