I've never seen anyone look as good as you wearnig a faux leopard leotard while riding a shovel.

"Motorcyclist" vs. "biker?"

Great. Just what this country needs: another pair of polarizing labels. Maybe "Red" bikers vs. "blue" bikers. Or "life" vs. "choice" motorcyclists.

Is it too much for the average American mind to accommodate the fact that there is a bell curve of "law-abiding" vs. "law ignoring" folk in any group...and that there is a responsibility for every citizen to look at each individual on their own merits?

Labels are for people who are too lazy to think for themselves.

Yes, it is to much for the average American mind. That's why labels and the image we project matters. Most Americans are too lazy to think for themselves.

More important is what the police think. And since so many of the cops around here own bikes now, mostly HDs, I'm not as worried about all this as I used to be. It's been many years since I was pulled over and hassled for the mere reason of riding a motorcycle.
