You forgot KTM. Its a 4 wheel drive Porsche jacked way up there for improved clearance.

If my motorcycles were cars the CL350 would be a VW bus.



The Buell would be a J2X Allard.



The CR500 would be a sand rail with a nitrous 1917cc VW motor.



And the DT1 would be a...er...Dodge Dart.

We have an 05 Mini S in BRG with black & tan leather interior.



Its a rocket, too. Sweet supercharged goodness with the necessary cliche reference to cat like reflexes. Tracks like an locomotive, too.



How does it correlate to bikes? Not the Uly. Great bike but a lump of a motor - even if they've done wonders with what they have to work with. (What would a ULY be like with an SV1000 or Superhawk powerplant - ultimate bike??)



I'll just have to think about that one.



Now my "fat lady", the ST1100 - cross between an Acura sedan and a Volvo wagon.



My old BMW R100RT - a BMW pickup truck from a parallel dimension. A good dimension, but really different.

I can't think of a single car in stock trim that will do a wheelie but I allways think of my speed 3 as a tweeked mr2 turbo, not horibly fast but great acceleration and handling

I had a Mahari, you know the 2cv with the corrugated plastic body? We found it left for dead under the bridge at Sunset & Virgil and got it running for about 2 hours before it exploded. Gave it a vikings death in the LA River after driving it down "the body shop" (underground drainage tunnel that snakes under North Glendale just big enough for a car).



If it were a bike it would be a Jawa Californian with a bad wiring harness.

The 1970's SAAB of motorcycles? I'm pretty sure that would be a Honda CX500. Very different and sort of a cult bike.
