As a first poster, I think that cars should have NASCAR full roll cages and interior (5-point belts, etc). Drivers should also have to pass the same physical exams as NASCAR drivers. This would put us all on the same playing field.

Oh good. I was hoping that we'd have another debate about riding helmetless real soon.

we all need to ask ourselves one very important question: would jesus ride without a helmet?

Default The answer is clearly no.

Mathew 4

5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

I can see why people don't want this bill to pass. Freedom scares the shyt out of lots of people.

Anybody hear about Massachusetts' passing of mandatory health insurance? I worry that that trend will end up affecting us a LOT more than a few helmet laws.

Mandated government plans have no market component, so they'll eventually be looking for scapegoats as uncontrolled cost spiral up. Look for us to be targeted a few years down the road - if this awful cancer spreads.

Right helmets are mentioned in the new book of KPaul chapter 1 verse 9. "On the first day of the new millennium, God created the inline 4 along with the full-face helmet. And God said, "Blessed are those who wear a full-face helmet and ride inline 4s for they will inherit the street""
