It's odd that stone hit's to the head hardly ever get talked about. You make a great point.

Car winshields get their share of stone hits. It seems reasonable to believe the more miles you pile on your bike the greater the risk of meeting Mr Stone.

I think it's great that there are idiots in this country that don't want to wear helmets. The part I really like the most is that we sane motorcyclists get to foot the bill with increased insurance rates. As an added benefit, when one of these dumba$$es gets disabled, they get to join the ranks of those on the public dole further soaking up dollars out of my pocket.

"If the maximum speed limit is 65, how can the manufacturers and resellers justify selling motorcycles that exceed 100-120mph?"

Agreeing of course with your postulation that selling motorcylces capable of exeeding the speed limit is bad for motorcycling because it will cause legilation that will some way restrict motorcyling as we know it. Won't your Harley exceed 100 mph?

Speed causes deaths. Wow what a news flash. Maybe one day your speed while assiduously observing the limit will cause the death of an innocent pedestrian. Probably while your looking around for some sport bike rider to narc off to the cops. I think youÂ’ve hit on something here. Perhaps the answer is to make it mandatory that every conveyance must remain stationary. That and breaking every garage window to stop the dangerous build up of carbon monoxide should reduce the death rate to zero. You truly are a man ahead of the times

So "full protection" would consist of not leaving your house?

Default Thank W

Remember Social Security will be bankrupt because of bigdx's hero W has run up the deficit to where the general fund is borrowing from SS trust fund at a record rate.

"Deficits don't matter" **** Cheney

"Deficits matter" Alan Greenspan

and 99% of the worlds economists agree with AG except for one idiot named Arthur Laffer from Buzglyds alma matter SDSU.

Well, it's true that the real crisis with Social Security is that the government is going to have to repay SS for the money they put into the general fund rather than let it draw interest for when it was needed, but the real problem is going to be with Medicare. Social Security is fixable, any time we want to address it. Medicare, I fear, may not. We all need to be thinking about that. I don't give a rat's patuti whether anyone wears a helmet or not-your final illness will likely cost several hundred thousand dollars, or more, no matter whether it's brain damage or Alzhiemer's. The point is, it's gonna cost a buttload of money.
