"He is the personification of motorcycling individualism."

Builds choppers. Hardly anybody doing that.

Has tattoos. Hardly ever see those. Radical.

Wears black t-shirts. Must really stand out in his crowd.

Has a Maltese cross for a logo. Wow, haven't seen that since von Richtofen.

Yep, Jesse's a true original. Unique. Individualistic. A snowflake amongst cookie-cutters, he is.

"What I really want to know is, when will new episodes of Top Gear be on?"

Not until they put Cragers, cherrybombs, and a candy metalflake flame-job on an Enzo.

Default Re: ever heard of motorcycle racing?

"heard of something called motorcycle racing"

Mmmm Yeah, my point exactly. Go race round a closed circuit. Stay off the public road where my wife and kids commute on.

"or a 'track day' ?"

So how many bikers attend track days? .01% maybe? I see plenty a$$holes speeding on the road. I guess they think theyÂ’re having a track day. ?

"stops a lot faster than a harley (safer)"

Sports bikes are safer than a Harley? Really? So how come insurance rates are higher for sports bikes than Harleys/cruisers/standards? Maybe the insurance execs are stupid?

"ace[la]rates a lot faster (again safer)"

Really? What part of accelerating from 0 to 100mph under ten seconds on a public road is safe? And please, donÂ’t give me the "accelerating out of the way of danger" bullsh!t. I had been riding bikes from before you started squeezing zits off your face. More acceleration does not make the bike safe.

"they get pretty decent gas mil[i]age"

Sure, you buy a gsx1000r for the gas mileage right? I owned a number of gsx1100Â’s, a Â’92 Fireblade and an GSX 750 SRAD. They all consumed loads more gas than my Harleys.

"acceleration and a top gear that will get you some great gas mil[i]age if your only going 55"

If you are going 55 mph then you are not accelerating are you? You are maintaining a consistent speed. The average standard, cruiser and chopper have a way more suitable power delivery for riding at posted speed limits.

only thing is the riding pos[s]ition which can be easily changed.

??? How? Changing handlebars, seat, and footpegs?

Dude, go back to school and demand your money back Â…

Default Re: And sport bikes are not ass candy?

Three GSX1000RÂ’s, 92 Blade and the last sport bike I owned was an GSX 750 SRAD.

They sucked at legal speeds limits, were useless for covering any type of distance and were uncomfortable after an hour in the saddle. The handling was compromised when riding two up and downright dangerous when loaded.

IÂ’ll never waste my money on one again.

Default And Eric Bostrom rides a cruiser on public roads.

Your point is what? Choppers are ***** because a well-known chopper builder happens to enjoy sports bikes also? Wow, sound like second grade all over again Â…
