Delivered? I'll believe it when I see it.

100 people get a limited edition Norton 952 that they have been waiting years to obtain and not a single one puts their bike up on the Internet to brag about it? No pictures, no "Hey guys on my favourite forum, I got my bike!", no "Thanks, Norton, for making such a wonderful motorcycle for me", no magazine review ... nothing.

If Norton had their forum running, I could email or PIM one of the depositors to see if they got their bike, but their new site has no spot for owners or mere enthusiasts to get togther and talk about their experiences. That alone is pretty suspect, to me.

Of the prototype ... find me a real world owner with a real world bike and I'll believe it.

My reply got lost. I didn't make it down to SD. I had a surprise family show up for x-mas.

I'm spending the rest of the month between Denver(cold) and Boston(really cold)

April for sure.

I read a test of the Norton in a magazine,I think it was a UK issue. The machine was one of the first productions. The bike tested well except for a vibration problem with the engine. This turned out to be caused by a faulty batch of crankshafts which was quickly rectified.

Hopefully we will see these bikes in full pruduction before very long, they deserve to be. Norton America have created one of the smartest looking retro style bikes I've seen for a long time. This is a bike that will stand out in the sea of generic, overcomplicated, mass produced clones. Good look Norton.
