Re: idiot ignorant WAers
I'm more of an east-coast Washingtonian but 0-14,000 seems more impressive to me than 7,000-14,000. Grab your hiking gear and head up Mt. Rainier. Then hike up a Colorado 14er. Let me know how you feel. Don't get me wrong: the entire Rocky Mountain chain is an impressive feature when considering the vastness of the range. But Mt. Rainier, standing by itself and rising from about sea level to over 14,000 is simply stunning. Not that Elbert or Sneffels or the other Colorado biggies are sissy-baby hills. And Dear Mr. Kpaul, I am kinda familiar with both areas of the country. My mountains back east are gentle rolling hills compared with these more serious mountains. I just don't think it is fair to dismiss Rainier as being less in stature simply because it is a few hundred feet less close to the sun. And thanks for calling me an idiot. I always take that as a compliment from you.

Re: Colorado Geography
I've ridden in four Colorado 500s sweet heart. Does that make my point any less or more valid? I tip my hat to your sense of civic duty but you are still an a-hole and I shall remain an idiot but Rainier will still be as majestic.
