I used to ride/drive a Harley "Servicar" back in 1951. They were easy to tip over with practically no warning, so you had to really watch it around corners. They were basically a Harley 45 with a rear axle and big box on the back - they were originally designed for car dealers to drive to customers, hook it on the back bumper of the car and tow it back to the dealer. It's hard to do now that cars don't have bumpers, but that is where the "Servicar" name came from.

I found the one I saw, its actually in the Jan 06 issue of Popular Science. A three wheeled Peugeot concept vehicle weighing 1279 lbs with 168 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. Its midway between a car and a motorcycle the way it looks.

The Stratosphere is something else. I wonder if the production version will have 180 hp and look as weird/futuristic as the concept bike.

I live in Kiev, Ukraine. Our country was one of Soviet republics. We still have lot of Russian sidecars. They are really grat off-road but need to be fixed almost every single day after ride. The factories were stollen in Germany during Secon World War and the engines are opposites(like most BMW). The motorcycle were manucaftures without any serious changer almost till late 80`s. Can you imagine? Motorcycles with engeniiring stuff from 1945?

But generaly they are fun.

Sure, there are people who have no balance, skills and guts to ride 2 wheelers, they are the majority and thank you very much for that, I would hate to see all of the bad drivers out there on bikes.

Awful lot of hating going on out there. I think part of riding is not having to choose the same thing as everyone else. People look at two wheelers as nuts too.
