Polaris,

Fire the design team on that POS looking thing before the majority of your shareholders catch wind and all bail at the same time.

Ugly, Ugly, Ugly. And if its like any other polaris with a CVT - It's Junk. The cool thing about Victory was that their cycles shared nothing with their ATVs (which have a bad reliablity reputation) so people couldn't talk crap on them, but with a CVT - all that might change.

You're right. But I think that most people think of scooters as two-wheeled vehicles with an automatic transmission. The lines are being blurred nowadays, but one thing that probably won't change is that motorcycle people won't want a "scooter-like motorcycle" When Honda tried the Hondamatic, it went belly up. I doubt much has changed.

The manufacturers are just trying to expand the market with these things. They figure if they make them less intimidating by making them automatics, they'll widen the net. But the type of person who is intimidated by manual transmissions is not likely to warm to a full-sized motorcycle, either. Maybe some, but not enough.
