Cool. I really dig those "Matchstick" motorcycles.

Wow! If I hang off a few years that silver 81 Yamaha T2 in the shed should be worth a fortune. Its been owned by Joe Barker for the past 5 years. If only!

I would have expected it to go for more, but what do I know about a 1931 500cc motorcycle?

Yeah, them Matchsticks are getting pretty rare.....

The deeper issue to me is the classic bikes and cars becoming more "collectable" That usually means prices double and NOS parts disapear so the guys who actually love and ride old bikes wind up with repro parts if they're luckey, while all the cool stuff sits in some rich dip****s climate controled storage facility waiting for his "investments" to appreciate.

Why can't they be like Trump and spend their money on crappy toupee's ?

Getting rare? Weren't Matchsticks rare when they were new? I don't think I've seen even three of them on the road in the 45 years I've been into bikes. There may have been more of them around, but probably they were in garages being repaired.

They tended to catch on fire pretty easily, that's why you don't see them.

Default Buells will be worth $$$

I just bought a Ulysses and what a bike it is. Pulls wheelies like crazy and is way fast enough for this rider. Just my 2 cents and 11,500.
