Default Are they nuts?

They bike looks cool (NOT the "Bulldog" the one in green) but the price is INSANE !! For that money you can get a GoldWing or 3 KLRs.

Army (or USMC) paid for the development of the bike, (NOT the defense contractors), they made a custom rear shock (OK) but 19 grands? For 30HP?

I was interested in finding more info, I still think the military version looks cool but with this HUGE price and NO marketing that you can speak of this thing is DOA.

Huh? Who is HDT, and what is this Bulldog bike you're talking about? A little background would be helpful.

The thing sounds interesting, I'd love to hear more. Everything on my farm runs on diesel. It would be cool to have a diesel bike also.

It does sound as if the company needs to get their collective act together however. Especially if they plan to sell bikes to the masses. Who do they think they are, that bowling ball company that used to own harley?

Oh, I wouldn't worry about it. The motorcycle market is so untapped, people will find them out - who needs marketing? I mean, there really is so little to choose from these days.

Polite feedback? Spoil all my fun...

Yes, please, I would like a review of the diesel bike! (And for the prive to come down.)

Pretty please? Sugar on top? I'll throw in a cherry...

0-60 in 10.6 seconds?? my mom's minivan can beat that. i can see how a 600 mile range would be worth the tradeoff in a military situation, but not for civ use...

I'll stick with a standard KLR. With some dealing, you could get a fleet of 4 or maybe 5 for the price on one HDT. So what if you get 100 mpg. The KLR will get about 60 mpg if you take it easy (only way to take it on a KLR). Just how many miles do you have to ride before you break even on the HDT? Fuggin' idiots.
