Alright, just what we need - a 150 horse, sub 300 lb bike for those who can't be bothered to learn how to use a clutch. How's this gonna be safe?

I agree. Much, much, much safer than having to shift gears with 20 HP.

Uhhh... I think you guys missed the point of the piece. The other bike was specifically a drag bike, the stainless looking bike was the one they were showcasing. The reporter was sitting on the drag bike, the daughter was on the bike "for the females." Pay a little more attention next time fellas.

It's kinda cool. I like the idea of the bike having fewer moving parts with no chain or belt drive. But choppers suck. Make a bike with a little more appeal to the masses, Not just american chopper fans. Oh wait that is the masses, like sheep they are.

Default Maxi Scooter

Just buy a maxi scooter and be done with it. CVT, good weather protection, plenty of storage, step through design, relatively low seat height, etcetera. Did you see the little Pug dog at the end of the video tryin' to get a little somethin' somethin'?

Huh.

Well, I like the less moving parts. Not fond of the chopper look. I would definately miss shifting.

Then again, I'm apparently not the market they're after. Though I think of myself as being female-friendly... Never mind.

I see more crotch rockets on the road than choppers. I'm not into choppers but I tire of the sport bike crowd making fun or light of other types of cycles. Personally, any type of two wheeled transportation is all right by me. I ride a Harley Electraglide and I have a Buell Ulysses ordered at my dealer.

I second that. I won't belittle anyone riding antything with 2 or (gasp!) 3 wheels - even scooters. As long as you're in the wind, it's good enough for me.

"150 horse, under 300 lbs." "invested $7000 so far"

Why isn't honda, kawasaki...etc beating this guys door down? Heck, I'll buy in with another $7k

I wasn't trying to belittle anyone who owns a chopper, I was just expressing my opinion about choppers. I think they look great, and are fast as hell, but they are also way too expensive(for me anyway) and need a four lane highway to make a u-turn.

I respect almost every rider on the road and treat them the way I would want to be treated when riding.

I just hope that this bike makes some sort of impact and they bring a sport standard or something similar out as their next bike.
