"Even though I personally don't ascribe to the "Harley lifestyle" (or any "lifestyle") Let'em have fun. Cripes, the country is homogenized (sp?) way too much already."

Um, you'd be hard-pressed to find more homogeniety than among the Harley faithful. A Baptist church picnic is an alternative-lifestyle festival by comparison.

"Being a social liberal I favor legalized prostitution to eliminate men being victimized by gold diggers. Don't see why the right wing wackos who say they want government out of lives are opposed to it?"

Do you have some sort of quota system that requires you to say at least one wildly uninformed, irrational political/social statement per day? Do you really think opposition to prostitution is confined to "right-wing wackos"? Tell ya what - go to the women's studies department of your local college and take a poll about legalized prostitution (or any prostitution, for that matter.) While you're at it, ask them their opinions about porn.

Of course, knowing you, you'd walk away thinking, "Wow, I didn't realize that lesbian feminists are all Republicans."

yes he must include something in most post about the evil right.

We cannot understand that which we fear. You should read "The Art fo War" It would give you insight to at least communicate your point without name calling.

Ignorance is no excuse for stupidity.

I am glad you are keeping my opinons in a proper perspective... Don't take what I say too seriously OK...Just because you are a right-winger is no reason to be offended and get your blood pressure up...just kidding ...

LOL! A disturbing vision in the tradition of Stanley Kubrick. "A Clockwork Zundapp." Or you could say,

It wouldn't have bothered me at all if my parents had gotten tattoos and ridden choppers. But Zundapps.......that might be too much.

What kind of bikes would Zundapp gang members look down? BSA Bantam/DKWs?

Speaking as someone from that same age group. To blazes with what the kids are embarrassed over!

As for spending money on all that HD nonsense; I am constantly hearing these folks talking about what "individuals" they are.

Let's see, same basic bike but with unique doo-dads bolted on. Don't forget the loctite.

Everyone dresses basically the same. (Cross between a cowboy and pirate?)

Brand loyalty is maintained by patriotic peer pressure akin to a religious zealot? (Emperor's new clothes?)

Can you say "lemming" boys and girls?

The good news is lemmings are small rodents with very short attention spans. The fad will eventually end and real riders will be able to tolerate owing HD's again. Heck, if I recall it was 75 when my family made the switch to metric bikes. We're about due for a change....

Holly crap think about the state of the used market when all these folks shift their attention to something else!!!!!

I for one can hardly wait!

P.S. Save the flame, I couldn't care less what a rodent thinks.

You sure that that wasn't your mother on "Reno 911" last night?

Maybe you should buy the Triumph instead of the Dynaglide so you won't have any worries about your mom borrowing it.
