Neat site...Thanks.

Too bad Honda's not smart enough to ditch the 919 and bring over that new Hornet. Interest in big bore standards has all but died here, IMHO.

Hopefully that new ZZR will make it here.

Ride Safe,

I don't predict success for the Aprilia "Chicken Choker", er, I mean "Magnet."

Re: 2006 Model year bikes
At last! Something to get excited about on this cyber-rag. I have been dreaming about the Sachs Beast ever since I saw a pic in one of the real moto rags a while back: the reincarnation of the Vincent-a brute of an engine, 2 wheels, a gas tank and not much else. But I dunno, if some lawyers get to the staff, harrassment suits may queer the deal.

Whats next.....4 liter Vtwins??? come on people do we have to supersize everything??? I've allways had the fear that we try to turn our bikes into some sort of comic book fantasy vehicles, and it looks like it more and more.

Re: 2006 Model year bikes
it isn't much different than 150 horsepower-400 lb sportbikes. Nothing sells better than things we don't need.

All the brands try to use the latest technology and styles ... with the exception of the Milwaukee-based Brand That Shall Not Be Named. If you want retro, you can always get one of theirs. Me, I like any look as long as it performs.

Re: 2.4 liter Harley
Does anybody really believe Harley is going to sell a bike called the Ultra Tail?

Sounds like a gag to me.

Re: 2006 Model year bikes
Isn't Harley just trying to pull in some of the market that aftermarket engine manufacturer's have created with their big motors. How will they get them past the EPA?

Love the Kawasaki twin!

Re: 2006 Model year bikes
Interesting news from KTM. As little as a year ago, they were going to cease production of two strokes in 2007. I hope the newfound success of their 2 strokes gives them a longer life.
