I'm definetly more interested in those bikes than the hardcore supersports. I say go for it!

Only if the Triumph is included. The others have been tested so many times that it has become sheer boredom to read about them.

How about somebody convincing me to buy a DL1000 before I go sink $17k into the new R1200GS I can't quit thinking about.

Lets not be hasty now... there must be one or two people on earth who haven't read the latest 600 sportbike reviews this year....

All those shaved ounces and cutting edge race derived engineering advances make them dramatical different than last years you know.

Suzuki's are reliable as the "legend" of BMW reliability... Unless you buy an airhead GS your looking at $17 grand for an over-engineered yet surprisingly fragile bike that won't do any better on road or off than the Suzuki yet costs $7k more.

Hm. How about throwing in some Katanas too, z750, maybe 500r or gs500, a bandit is even in the price range.

I hate buying "new" anyway. For some reason the GS really wants to be in my garage. I like the V strom on ability, but the looks. I know that sounds shallow. I wouldn't get married cause she can cook. There that sounds more reasonable.
