So if its loud enough, it doesn't matter that's slow and doesn't turn... is that it?

Don't get me wrong... I like cruisers... I just don't understand the loud pipes thing.

All show... No go.

"Another pet peeve, 4 stroke dirtbikes. Man those things sound like crap. Give me a 2-stroke anyday !!"

Hurrah to that! Woods riders are finally coming to the realization that 4 stroke exhaust noise carries much farther than 2 stroke noise.

I believe that the AMA should come out with stringent noise rules for MX, Enduro, and GNCC competition and enforce them. If all the pros have to learn how to make competitive power at 90dB, then everybody will gain.

Welp, when I had m Low Rider with the SE tapered muffs, people would start checking their mirrors right about the time I hit their blind spot when coming up from behind.

Maybe more noise flows to the back but plenty shoots out the side!

The Geezer is much quieter but people just think I'm a cop and freak out, especially when I'm wearing my silver 3/4 helmet.

I'll agree long-shot drag-piped twins can be obnoxious but you and your friend are either exaggerating or hyper-sensitive wussies.

Yes, but only if you don't own any motorcycle manufactured after 1987.

Actually, scaring the horses away is a good thing. Nothing tears up and ruins a good hiking trail like a bunch of nags.

I believe him. I had a straight-pipe jackass pull into the gas sation I was filling at and give his throttle a blip. Me and the three other people there instantaneously winced and threw our hands up to our ears. It was f***ing painful, and I listen to music LOUD. He got an earful from us. Didn't look particularly cool right then.

"All show... No go."

That pretty much sums up cruisers in a nutshell, doesn't it?
