Yeah, to get the 120/120 engine, you need to buy the Screaming Eagle/Jim's kit for 8 friggin grand! That doesn't include installation. Cycle World did a piece in thier latest mag. Hey, when are we gonna get SBP up to speed on this Harley stuff? I think he's lagging a bit!

"but all squids ride japanese sportbikes"

What would you call the two Ducati riders I recently saw riding (very slowly/wobbly by the way) with their Harley chaps? Kinda like a "bizzarro" squid?

Default Tuesday

He's coming down here next Tuesday. Maybe I'll make him ride the Geezer Glide instead of the Ducati.

Like Buzz seez, nobody is slammin' 2-strokes, however a 4-stroke in the dirt can be fun too, ever heard of a Thumper?

The consequences of loud pipes on the street are bit disconcerting. You may be banned from your housing development, you may get a citation for violating a noise ordinance or you might ***** someone off. However, the consequences for loud bikes in the dirt have often been closed riding areas and, worse yet, booby-trapped riding areas thanks to eco-terrorists. If you need more power, get a bigger bike. If you have to be loud, do it in you own garage. There are others in this world and not just you self-centered pigs with loud pipes. You have cost me many a riding place. Loud pipes scare the siht out of horses, hikers and mountain bikers. Those others go out of doors to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the piece and quiet. I do the same thing, except I hustle and bustle a bit more on my dirt bike. The least I can do is try to keep it quiet. And when I encounter others who aren't riding a bike I slow down so I don't startle them. A wave and a nod help the cause too. So, come on: get your head out of your arse and fit in a bit. Or, buy a thousand acres and do as you please
