Default Re: Hyosung coming to the USA as ''Hyosung''?

Given the already growing presence in great britain and australia, why use a different name for the US?

Especially if they include the "Mini-Rod", er Aquilia 650 in the launch portfolio of bikes for the US.

I think this is fascinating!. I remember when I learned about Honda, I thought they were from South America. Anyway, it will be interesting how Japan responds. I know what we're going to do here in America - we'll buy all they produce.

As for the crack about North Korea nuking south Korea, don't worry, Bush is mapping a strategy to deal with them now that he's finished with IRAQ.

pdad13, I hear Hyosung might be opening an office in CA. I wish I had more information, I am trying to dig around more.

Alphasports seems to have some organizational issues. For example go to their site and click on the "Dealers" link...

http://www.alphasportsmotors.com/

They let dealer their locator URL expire, its been down at least a week. Not to good for the dealers. My guess is Hyosung is not willing to leave its fate it in Alphasports hands.

That's one void that doesn't need to be filled!

He's back anyhow, y'know. He's just got a different handle. Won't take long to ferret him out.

Default Urban Legend Revisited.

I always like the Advertising Urban Legend, about the copy-writer, who got Misubishi dropped on his desk. He was supposed to have come-up with...

"From the Folks Who Brought You Pearl HARBOR--We Bring You MITSUBISHI"...

and, he was Immediately Fired!

pity. the Mitsubishi airplanes kicked US butt for a while. Their cars did the same for a spell too.

Yeah, that's what I figured. That website is a horror. Let me know what you find. Seems a bit late to be cobbling together a dealer network when the bikes are supposed to be here this spring. They're also going to have to put together some stateside sales/marketing organization if they plan on doing it themselves. Sounds like spring of this year is a bit optimisitic.

Not so fast. He´s going to take over Iran first. Then there are Syria, Venezuela and Cuba in front of the line.
