Ah yes forgot the classic British design. Is British Engineering and oxymoron?

Default cool idea. good promotion. execution?

I have a wmmra buddy who was at the PIR photo shoot. It is possible that the story overstates how much the bike was ridden and what actually happened, but I wasn't there.

I don't know exactly how to distinguish between in the box or out of it, or just close to the box at a respectful distance, but this strikes me as a premature, thinly veiled prosectus. While while I am sensitive to your "pipe dream" warning, I'll take a flyer right now and say this thing will never race a lap at a nationally sanctioned event.

I hope I am wrong. Then again who would have guessed that Michael Jordan would own a legitimate ama race team. not me.

Default Re: Funding

I just read an interview in Cycle News where Kenny Roberts says he needs 11-15 million for a year to run two bikes and riders.

Default Re: 1 engine or 2

That would depend on how they're hooked together.

If they crankshafts are in series (as is common for V12 & V16) then it would still be considered one engine. This setup would require both 'banks' to be running together to operate.

If instead, it had parallel outputs, where if one fails, the other engine could still provide power (See KPaul's helicopter example), then it would be considered two seperate engines.
