What else could explain our need to hurtle our bodies at high rates of speed on dubiously maintained roads rolling on two patches of rubber a few inches wide? Love and a bit of mania! Give thanks for motorcycling and the freedom to do it!

if I had the choice of chopping off 1 nut, 3 fingers, an ear and a toe >>>OR<<< never ride again I would cget busy chopping. It's a love/hate relationship though. I love the machines but hate that I can't afford to have another 4 or 5. XR650R, 2005 Speed Triple, 990 Duke, RC45, 1200GS, the list goes on forever.

I rode to work at 4:30 this morning, as always. It was a little cool out, about 25 degrees. Even so, I felt sorry for the poor slobs cooped up in their cars. They were missing out.

Think I'll buy my grandkids pocket bikes. That way my daughter and I can ride the bikes while her kids are in school, or in the hospital because of an accident.

Hey, how much damage can a little kid do to one of those things?
