Looks like the same old problem of defining a sport-tourer. Depends on which side of the equation your preferences lie. Honda UK lists the Blackbird, VTR1000 and VFR800 as sport-tourers. Hey, how about testing the Deauville 650?

Add in the Duc's and Futura. This is a "Sport Tourer" shootout..

How about the new BMW K1200S, a definite winner!?

The question is - are you testing sport tourers as in a touring bike that has sporting capabilites or a sporting bike that has touring capabilites?

The ST1300 is most definitely a touring bike with some sporting capabilities, so it should be tested against other porkers. I'm not sure if there is another bike that would fit the bill. There have been a lot of admirable suggestions, but just about every other bike suggested is world's lighter than the ST1300. The Yammer and the Beemer are both substantially lighter than the ST1300. You don't really want to go lighter than those (650 lb range).

Maybe add a Concours with lead filled saddlebags. That should compete against the other three. Or a Sprint ST with Ebass being pulled behind on a skateboard.
