I think you should throw in a BMW R1150RS, there hasn't been much written about the RS for quite a while. The RS is large but not overly heavy and handles as if it's much lighter than it is.

Based on the bikes you say can't be considered then these are the only three that really fit the category. Let the games begin!



For a future comparo consider grabbing bikes that are not sold as sport tourers but make sport tourers out of them with accessories. FZ1, ZZR, R1100S, SV1000(S), Blackbird, Speed Triple. Maybe even throw in a Monster for fun.



Then for another one, Multistrada, V-Strom, Tiger.



For another, K1200LT vs. Goldwing vs. Electra Glide



Finally the 950 Adventure vs. R1200GS.



Plenty of future material for MO.

Compared to those listed??? Lightest of the bunch, I'm guessin'. And certainly no "larger" than the others. Smaller, in fact, unless you're talking about price...in which case only the GT is larger.
