It's worth noting that she did this the hard way too. Most folks riding a 50cc ride the San Diego - Jacksonville route because it's shortest. I don't know the mileage offhand, but surely it's further to use the Seattle - Annapolis route. Well done!!!

Remember the awful remake of 50 ft woman with Darryl Hannah? My favority scene from The Colossal Man was when he held the bread truck up to his mouth and scarfed the entire load. VWW

I have a question. Are you fairly young or just naive? You seem to cling to the Democrat line and most of their socialist pap has been roundly debunked by history (Soviet Union, China, the unbelievable unemployment rates in Europe, failed socialized medicine, etc.). I don't mean this as an insult, I just am curious when I find true liberals as to their true motivation.

Horror movie aficianados will recognize my handle which gives a clue to my love of the old 50's schlock Sci-fi cinema.

I've got dozens of those old black and white movies, including The "Amazing Colossal Man" that I scarfed off of AMC years ago before it went to commercials and became a total dog shyt station. We just watched "The Invisible Man" last weekend. What a hoot.

Have you seen "Lost Skeleton of Cadavra" yet?

Seruzawa, I thought that I had seen just about every bad sci fi, and horror movie ever made from the Attack of the Giant Leeches to I Married a Moon Maid, but somehow I missed Lost Skeleton of Cadavra. Was that one of those films starring John Agar? VWW

I figured you just didn't know how to spell Kurosawa, Nothing like a good Samuri film to get you in the mood for some Yakisoba and Saki.

Me and the kids watched Creature from the Black Lagoon the other day on AMC, that was a pretty good one.

Sounds familiar. A Japanese flick? Like "Attack of the Mushroom People"?

Was that the Invisible Man with Claude Raines?

Yes, AMC went down the tubes. They did show "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" un-interrupted last week. Amazing. A Bogey fest, I believe...

Lost Skeleton is a recent indy flick that just came out on DVD. It relives those old flicks well and is quite hilarious.
