As of July 1, if you ride in France you're required by law to have:
1. A flourescent vest. 2. A safety triangle. 3. A breathalyzer test kit! New French law makes breathalyser kits compulsory for motorists | Mail Online So what's next, are French riders going to have to wrestle themselves to the ground, slap on their own cuffs, and then bash their own head on the door frame when they're arrested? If it weren't for French women and food, you could chuck the whole damn country as far as I'm concerned.

Call the FBI!
Some Tea Partier has kidnapped Kenneth! You and others here frequently say you're unafraid of govt encroachment upon our Liberty. This really doesn't bother me because they'll probably stop now. |

France also restricts ANY motorcycle to no more than 100 horsepower (aside from track/offroad bikes of course). I read a review from a Brit about riding a French-market R1 that was capped at 100HP. He said it absolutely sucked, which is weird because my bike makes 100HP and it's hardly what I'd call "slow." I suppose it's what you're used to. I remember when the first VMax came out with "Over 100 Horsepower!!!" and how we were abuzz about how all that power could possibly be managed. Ahh, the days of innocence.

Do you know why French women invented make-up and perfume? Because they're ugly and they stink....
