Well, it certainly is possible. The Mille is due for an overhaul...though I think it is still a great-looking competitive superbike as it is.

Looks like they may be getting away from that 2-1 exhaust system.

Yeah, from the front there is definitely a bit of an RC51 resemblance. I was thinking the same thing. It definitely is a looker.

pics were taken maybe 6 months or more ago.

When Aprilia had them taken down from some sites, it was said to be some kind of an unrelated (to the (present and or future?)mille) "limited edition model".
