Default Cagers get pissed when reminded to watch out

CalTrans actually did something smart and reminded the nose-picking idiots to watch out for bikes.

It made some of 'em mad.

This shows the drivers' mindset that they own the road and don't want to share. "If I can't get home any quicker, then you can't either!"

“Wow, I didn’t know there was a sentiment like that out there on the roadways,” Cartagena said.

Ha! I did. They don't have the guts to ride a bike or do anything daring and they resent the people who do. "Boo hoo, bikers are lane splitting and getting where they are going faster than me in my cage. Oh boo hoo. Where's my Starbucks coffee and Viagra. Oh boo hoo." Drones in cages.

"The sign 'is good advice because you don’t see motorcyclists when they go crazy, zipping in and out of lanes,' he said. 'If I were to hit one, someone would probably say I was to blame.'"

Yes. Because you would be. Stay in Mexico if you don't like it.

Did you split lanes when you were riding down here Buzz? Man, when I do it, you'd think I was stealing food from the cager's kids. They'll scream out the window, swerve over to try to cut me off, just go apeshirt.

I was stuck in a huge I-95 traffic jam one day on the Shovelhead. The bike was overheating badly so I started up that extra-wide section that separates the HOV lane from the next lane. A guy opened his truck door right in front of me. I had to swerve left to miss the door, and took off the passenger rearview of the car next to him with my shoulder. Almost went down from that impact. Needless to say, I just kept going.

Traffic jams result in a mob mentality. Also, there's two types of people. The ones who want what you have and the ones who, if they can't have what you have, don't want you to have it either.

Pretty well proves my theory that with a few exceptions most kalifornicators should have been put down at birth. Maybe we could trade the place back to mexico for some Mescal?

You're assuming I've ever ridden in FL. That's one place where I hope to never ride a motorcycle.

I've ridden in Mexico several times and they split lanes like crazy. You just have to watch out for the curio sellers who stand in between lanes when the cars line up at the border crossing.

I really haven't had much of a problem splitting lanes here. Most people move over. Of course, when I'm wearing my Nolan 3/4 helmet with the attached mic, at first glance I look like Johnny law. If I paste on a fake longride stache, they part like the red sea.

Motorcycle crashes that end up fatalities are up 42% in Los Angeles. I saw a paralyzed guy on an old Shovel FLH with a sidecar and his wheelchair stuck in it. Now he's got some balls. I'm thinking of getting a Ural and mounting a Barrett light .50 on the sidecar. An instant karma device for idiots in cages.

I've often wondered about hitting an open car door while "Lane sharing". Wouldn't it eff up the car real well? Hell, if the bike was big enough, it might just take the door clean off.

The sentiment is not just here in the states, though. I've had cage drivers try and block me while "filtering" in Germany, too.

I saw those warnings from Bart on my way in to work and was shocked that Cal Trans would even warn people we exist.
