Did Gobert used to take your lunch money back in Junior High, or did he nail your girlfriend? Everybody gets breaks, just yours was in the fast food business, not racing. Fast food is a lot easier to deal with. He is still fast.

I agree. It's called "cherry-picking". An old flat-tracker told me how the experts used to enter the local races as novices, under some creative false names, with different paint jobs, and clean up on the prize money. Gobert racing against those guys is like Superman beating up on a blind man. The only good to come of might be a few of the local boys learning the good lines.

You guys ever been to Willow? If you have, then you probably know that the level of racing and organization with WMSC is far superior to almost any track in the country. Almost every world champ that the U.S. has produced has spent a considerable amount of time "beating up" the locals. The speeds required at Willow demand respect that any factory team recognizes, and the lap times that are consistently turned month in and month out would put a fair amount of the WSMC "expert level club racers" on the first couple rows of a national event.

He should be evil at Laguna and is itching to get back to the world stage so you could see an Australian Civil War on the track this year.
