Default Getting Closer? Zero S electric streetbike

They say they're getting 60 MPC (miles per charge) with max speed at 60MPH. Almost usable around here:

Crappy pit-filled castings on the frame & swingarm. Looks like it's made out of zinc. One good pothole and SNAP.

The writer of the article has mistakenly claimed that the bike will do 60mph for 60 miles. Until I see actual proof of that I'm going to assume that you have to ride a lot slower than 6omph in order for the battery to last 60 miles. The Zero S website doesn't address the issue either. It sounds a bit disingenuous.

The PS article and a few TV interviews have the principle talking about the 60/60 claim. He said that they were right on the money for the 60/60 and that the recharge time is less than 3hrs. The charge time goal is supposed to be under 1 1/2 hrs. He, also, claimed that they are trying to get it to 100 miles of ride time, but battery technology isn't quite there yet.

Hoaky. I stand corrected then. What would the distance possible be at average city speeds or around 35mph.

You know, he never mentioned it but you'd figure @ 35mph or so you could probably knock out 80-100 miles.

Make it a 100 miles with 60 mph potential and call me. Or make a deal with work to allow me to recharge it for free.

No worries, just leave a Honda generator at work and charge it up with that.
