Yes the V Strom felt much better and really is a cool bike

Don't be hatin now. The Strom is a very handsome bike, especially with it's matching Give bags. A bit wide in the butt, but hey, who's perfect?

Does having matching Jive bags make you hip in the inner city?

Having tracks does help one fit right in to the inner city.

BMW's seem to be well suited to taller riders. Triumph Tiger 1050 may be worth looking into, plenty of sport, legs may get a little cramped on the long rides, but I suspect you'll be facing that regardless.
