Hello guys, i'm having a hard time getting out of 1st gear. When i took the MSP class, we were told to release the clutch until you fill it catch. I'll have been practicing but still having a hard time. Can it be that the clutch needs adjusting or just be patient? Oh i only had my bike(ZZR600)a week. Please advise.

Assuming you mean, 'getting the bike rolling' rather than 'getting out of first gear' -

Take a break, then practice more!

If you think something is wrong with the bike, have a more experienced friend check it out for you.

Use a good amount of throttle, and let off the clutch gently. Too much throttle and too quick on the clutch, the front tire comes off the ground and the speedometer punches you in the mouth.

Too little throttle, it gets quiet real quick.

So, practice! Preferably in a big empty corner of a parking lot. While you're there, practice panic stops. And maybe some of those turning drills you had in your MSF course.
