Well, to be honest - I don't think it will help all that much. (I ride bicycles almost as much as I ride motorized bicycles). But I suppose it can't hurt! After all, you'll be out there in traffic knowing that no one sees you, and planning your actions accordingly -- and that is the prime factor in safe riding: assuming no one sees you and riding in accordance with that assumption.
It's a VERY ACCURATE assumption, by the way. You are invisible!!! Act like it!!

Thanks for the advice, Sachi. That sounds like a really good way to look at it (invisible). As I'm driving around in my car these days, I'm observing bikes more and more as well as how drivers interact with them and it's always interesting.
Oh, I picked up my first piece of moto gear the other day, a Scorpion leather jacket. Yep, I'll roast my *ss off some days, but I was going for max protection so... Good choice? |

I haven't seen the clothing personally, but their helmets have impressed a lot of people. I'm sure it will be fine!
