Default Where to start?

I have ALWAYS been a bike lover! I have always known that someday I would get a bike. But where do I start? I don't know much of anything...LoL. Unfortunately I have a bunch of loser friends that don't have bikes and don't think I can do it. I can't wait to prove them wrong. And I am super psyched to get started!!! How do I start learning though? Do you have to have a bike to go through the course? Someone get me started...please! And what's a good CHEAP but nice bike to start with? Thanks so much.

There is a thread on this site called New Riders Read This First, or something like that. Since you want to be a new rider, read that first. Then come back with a post that says you're buying a ZX-14 or a GSXR 1000 so we can all have something to talk about.

I dunno Ken - seem's more like a BossHoss sorta person to me.

But only if it's got a Nawz Pro Fogger and 10-71 Roots with a Hilborn on it.

Take an MSF course. Wait two weeks after you're done and get back with us. It will give you time to research some things.
