no need to reply to previous post...not at all interested in the obnoxious replies that others have posted. There are far more helpful sites w/ thoughtful and intelligent comments! I'm not even logging back on after this post.

This question has been asked and answered many times before. Might consider doing a search and revisit the topic only if your questions aren't already answered.

Auto-canceling turn signals are overrated - and can be dangerous.

Example: you're waiting to turn left at a stop sign in traffic (with your signal on) - a car pulls up to the stop sign across from you. It's finally clear to go, so you make your turn - and the car across from you makes its jump across the road at the same time; only the driver assumes you're not turning, because your auto-cancel shut off your signal without your notice...........

The bike that would be the best choice is the one you like the best and feel the most comfortable on. Both of those are decent choices for a first bike. I don't think you could go wrong with either one.

Good on ya. I'd suggest that you check out some dual purpose bike too.

Get one a these....I'll make you a great deal...don't need a license, or insurance, just a bicycle helmet. And it has a real clutch, just like a Doocati. and once you've leared the bascic on one of these machines, you can step right up to a Hiyabusa. Just ask Buz.

Levity and whimsey must escape you. I have seen things go from the helpful to the absurd on this site and never have I read a comment from this crowd that couldn't be taken with a grain of salt. If you cannnot handle this then you would have been shocked on the "old" site when K-squid and the rest of the motley crew got into politics when the original thread started as some newbie wanting a GSXR1000.
Can't handle this site- then in the ever so humble words of the English "p!ss off you wanker!"
