Interesting ... I've only used that term for Navy sailors. Never heard it recycled anywhere else before.

Dressing up like Marlon Brando in "The Wild One" when you are 55 years old is a sign of maturity?

16,000 posts???? You need to get out more on your bike I think and clear your head. Someone might say you're a keyboard jockey and not a rider.
Camaraderie is why people group together, it's more fun to do it off the forum. People show more respect in person I find. Nothing wrong with Harley riders that I've met, link is above. They do wear helmets, and promote their Harley sales very well.
Nothing I can do about people's age, and neither can they. This is Florida, people are retiring here or enjoying the weather as tourists.

And some might say that you should be careful not to storm into a new place and start assessing other's behavior right off the bat.

He's been here for TEN YEARS; you for only a few days.

Aw, did I hurt your feelings? My bad. 16,000 posts...that's a lot of missed riding time. He must have stock in the forum. I don't get his comments, maybe he's not as super a mod as his title says?

Not sure what's the point here. I'm not a member, but they welcome guests better than this. What makes you guys feel so high and mighty about over another biker? Hmmmm?

Just for clarifichange; I believe he's been here longer than 10 years. When the "old" MO was transferred to the "new" MO server, nearly everyone got a "glitch" of one kind or another. I've been here a lot longer than my "join date" of June '07 says (although I can't really recall exactly when I joined - I'm no clockwatcher - it was when the content was pay-for, and I renewed at least once).
