Well that didn't take to long (2 weeks to be exact). Dropped my bike. Gently. But enough to scratch the crank case. I went to an empty parking lot to practice emergency braking. I was so focused on stopping quickly that I forgot to put my feet down when the bike stopped!!!! Man those bikes are heavy when the start tipping over.

Ordering those sliders was a great idea. Too bad they haven't arrived yet.

Don't feel bad. Last March I rode over a thousand miles in a week, got home, pulled in the garage, and forgot to put the kickstand down. Thud. I was thinking about unpacking and not parking.

Mac- you're gona get along just fine around here. We tend to F with oe another as much as possible. It makes for a fun board, but newbies get scared and run off. Thanks for joining the club. Don't worry about the bike too much. We've all dropped a bike. Some worse than others.

Nah, just in time. Now I dont have to offer my free key'n service I offer everyone I know with a new ride. Once that first scratch is on it, you can relax and enjoy it.

Chalk it up as a learning experience. Way I see it if you learn from it, it never happens again which means your on your way to becoming a better rider.
