You guys are right. There are enough bikes to choose. I'm not going to bother with this one. Too good a deal and too sketchy a guy.

Thanks for talking me through this one.

See what happens when I go on vacation?????

Mr Mac?....the guy is a moron, whether he's honest, dishonest a thief or a geek the guy is first off a flippin moron. I personally have a genetic predisposition to avoid stupid people and that would include some dipsh*t who can't speak legible English. Surely there has to be some reasonably intelligent sellers in your area with whom you can deal?

First off, Ninja250s don't go for 4500. Second, without a frame you can't tell the year. Third, it's a stolen bike... that's how you get rid of the VIN... dump the frame. Don't buy it. Notify the local police of a suspected bike thief.

If this guy seems sketch to begin with then I would keep looking. There are so many used bikes for sale right now its a buyers market.

I usually buy a used bike with money. But that's just crazy ol' me spewing forth ancient ways of conducting business. I'm sure now days you can get a bike with a blow job, and box of Viagra or a blonde with a shaved weasel. Good luck.

Typically- newer bikes aren't sold in pieces. If you are willing to spend about $1500 you can afford a middle 2000s Ninja 250 or 500 that will happily commute your butt anywhere with little worry. If you look real close you can find old Ninja 600e bikes from 1998-2003 for the same price.
