What about getting the 250r now and practice over the summer I know all the cops in the area and they're all chill so I should be fine, then when I get the m1 in the winter I buy a used 600?

Over the summer I would prolly practice about 10-15 hours a week maybe more

The old adage, "going fast on a slow bike is a lot more fun than going slow on a fast bike." Get the baby ninja and have a blast. If you must get a 600 down the road (in a year or two) pick up a used yzf600r, not an R6. The YZF600R is one of the best 600's for the street, you can pick them up cheap and they are much easier to ride than the latest greatest 600. Cheaper to insure also I believe, depending on the ins co.
